THANKSGIVING 2009 - CLOSING

The Purdue Operator Services Office will close for the Thanksgiving Holiday from 7 pm Wednesday, November 25, until 7 am Monday, November 30. The Holiday closing means our office will not provide services such as AUTH code calls (MERS) and directory assistance. Staff and faculty members can obtain a Qwest calling card from their area's business office. The card enables calls from off-campus phones at the same rate as MERS authorization code.

During closings, callers who dial 494-4600 (off campus) or 0 (on campus) will hear a message advising that our office is closed for the holiday. In case of an emergency, callers should dial 911 or contact the Purdue police at 494-8221. For a listing visit https://www.itap.purdue.edu/directory/. The Purdue Police do not provide directory assistance.

Our normal business hours are 7am - 7 pm Monday - Friday, 10 am - 6 pm Saturdays and closed Sundays.

ATTENTION: Telephone Office Staff has moved to YONG Room 409. All requests for telephone services, cell phones, blackberrys, pagers etc. will be handled in YONG Room 409 and NOT in the TEL Bldg.

Training sessions will continue to be held in the TEL Bldg. Please call 44719 with questions.

The Purdue University Voice Mail system changed to the CallPilot Unified Messaging system on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

Charges may be viewed by authorized users through the Web Services/Check Department Billing on this page or PageCenter under PUBLIC/PUBFIN/TELANNUAL.
