Purdue students are provided with an email account that allows them to send and receive email at a purdue.edu address.

Emergency cell phone notification
Sign up to be notified in the event of a public safety emergency. Purdue will send text messages to your cell phone only
in the event of a public safety emergency or a well-publicized test of the emergency notification system. The University
will use this information for no other purpose. Depending on your cell phone plan, your carrier may charge you for
receiving these text messages. Go to http://www.purdue.edu/securepurdue,
click on the “Change My Password” icon, enter your career account name and password, and then select the “Emergency Contact
Information” link beneath the Account Tools heading. Enter your cell phone number in the space provided. Click Save when
you have entered your cell phone number.
Help desk
The Customer Service Center provides ITaP-related computer assistance to everyone at Purdue. Walk-in assistance is on a
first-come, first-served basis in Stewart Center, room G65; phone support is available by calling 49-44000.
