This fall students have a new tool for study and collaboration with others. The virtual meeting room is part of Adobe’s Acrobat Connect Professional, a web-conferencing software that requires Adobe Flash Player to run.
“In offering this collaborative capability to everyone on campus, we contribute to Purdue’s reaching its goal of learning anywhere, any time,” said Ed Evans, interim executive director of the teaching and learning technologies (TLT) unit of Information Technology at Purdue. “Adobe Connect helps in removing barriers to open, campus-wide communication. This technology will empower students to learn in distinctive ways unavailable a few years ago.”
You only need a valid Purdue career account login and password to access your meeting room. For information about how to access and use your meeting room, visit www.itap.purdue.edu/tlt/gomeet/index_students.cfm.
