Definition of General Informatics Services
Web Application Development – Planning, design and development of web-based applications. Web applications are defined as any web location or page designed to perform or execute work (as opposed to locations and pages that are for information).
Web Site Design – Planning, design, development and implementation of web sites. This area may include “from-scratch” creation or redesign of an existing web presence. Web site design includes graphic design, information and content architecture, as well as technical or backend construction.
Web Site Implementation – Implementation can be defined as full web site content population and/or implementation. While this is typically a project phase rather than a type of service, it is expected that some clientele may request ISG to assist in implementing self-created web sites. In such cases ISG will provide implementation services.
Web Site Maintenance – Editing, modification, addition or deletion of content or features within existing web sites.
Media Development – Creation of media assets, including text, graphics, animation, video or sound, predominantly (but not exclusively) aimed at delivery over the Web.
Content Management – Development of templates, workflows or other materials required for Enterprise Content Management design and implementation.
Consulting (General) – Miscellaneous consulting services that may be provided by ISG include providing assistance with any aspect of web or media development, as well as training and education services.
