Editing Services for Television and Multimedia Distance Learning Classroom Video Production Studios Video Recording of Classroom or Conference Events- 30-minute program includes campus news updates, features and studio interviews focusing on Purdue’s missions of discovery, learning and engagement.
- Hosted by Michael Piggott, Purdue’s Director of Community Relations and Tangra Broge, Miss Indiana 2003 and a senior in communications in the School of Liberal Arts.
- Jointly produced by James Vruggink, Office of University Relations, and Edward Dunn, Video and Multimedia Production Services, Information Technology at Purdue
- You will need Windows Media Player installed on your computer in order to view Discover Purdue.
- In the Lafayette area, the program can be seen Monday-Friday at 6:30pm on the Purdue Channel (Insight Communications Cable Channel 5, URTAS Channel 15). The program can also be seen Tuesday at 11am and Saturday at 7pm on Insight Communications Cable Channel 13.
- In Indianapolis and on many cable systems statewide, Discover Purdue airs on WFYI-TV, Channel 20, Wednesday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:30pm.
- In Northwest Indiana and Chicago, Discover Purdue can be seen Sunday at 8am CST on WYIN-TV (Channel 56).
- In Evansville, the program can be seen Sunday at 8am on WNIN-TV (Channel 9).
- In Fort Wayne, the program airs Sunday at 6:30am on WFWA-TV (Channel 39).
