Electronic Work Order Transfer System (EWOTS)

The EWOTS (Electronic Work Order Transfer Systems or "Transmittal System") is an in-house developed system implemented in 1985. This mainframe system provides on-line entry of work requests, and creation, tracking, and management of Physical Facilities work orders and tasks. Data is input online.


Incidental Billing (PUIB)

The Incidental Billing system is an in-house developed system implemented in 1983. This mainframe system supports on-line data entry of incidental charges, such as shipping fees charged back to departments through the FMIS system.


Material Transfer (PPPC)

This is a Physical Facilities mainframe system used by the materials expeditors to support the accounting function as work order job materials are transferred from one account such as an inventory account to the work order account. The transfer information used by the system is entered into the on-line system.


Parking Permits

The Parking Permit system is an in-house developed system implemented in 1980. The system supports issuing and maintaining of parking permits while tracking payments including transactions passed to Payroll for payroll deductions. Data is entered on-line.


Parking Tickets

Parking Tickets is a mainframe system originally obtained from Indianapolis Police Department and modified to Purdue's requirements. The system was implemented in 1980. The system supports issuing parking tickets, identifying responsible parties, and tracking payments.


Work in Process Payroll (WIP aka PPWP)

WIP is an in-house developed, mainframe system implemented in 1987. It supports entry of daily time cards on Work Orders, the maintenance of WIP employee attendance records, the daily feed of labor charges on work orders to the accounting system, bi-weekly feed of time slips to payroll, and the feed of 'quick hire' and rate change transactions to payroll.


Work in Process On-line Inquiry (WIPI)

WIPI is an in-house developed, mainframe system implemented in 1984. It provides an on-line inquiry facility for financial activity to date on work orders.


Work in Process Reporting (WIPR)

WIPR is an in-house developed, mainframe system implemented in 1984. It provides reporting data and reports on work orders.
