The Budget system is an in-house developed mainframe system implemented in 1980. The system supports preparing University annual operating budget and allocating raises. Data is extracted from Payroll & Personnel systems and Client data entry.
Budget - Faculty Contracts (BUFC)
The Faculty Contracts system is an in-house developed mainframe system implemented in 1980. It tracks faculty contract, terms, expirations and renewals. Data is entered by client from paper contracts.
Flex Benefits (PAFX)
The Flex Benefits system is a mainframe package purchased from Hewitt Associates in 1980. It manages plans, rates, enrollment and some claims payments. Data is received from Payroll & Personnel systems and Client data entry.
Payroll (PAYR)
The Payroll system is an in-house developed mainframe system installed in 1960. It produces the University's payrolls and W-2 reporting and brings fiscal year salary budget forward. Payroll collects hourly time for biweekly staff and distribution information for all staff. Also includes Time Entry and Account Distribution for hourly (biweekly) staff. Data is received on paper forms from all operating areas of the University and Client data entry.
Payroll Adjusting (PAAP)
The Payroll Adjusting (PAAP) system is an in-house mainframe system developed in 1960. It captures information on manual Payroll payments. Data is entered by the end user.
Payroll Adjusting Charge (PAAC)
The Payroll/JV/APC/PDC (PAAC) system is an in-house mainframe system implemented in 1970. It makes adjustments and corrections to original Payroll Charge and FMIS General Ledger. Data is extracted from Payroll Charge and FMIS Accounting.
Payroll Appointment Information System (PAIS)
The PAIS system is an in-house developed mainframe system installed in 1990. It supports Monthly Payroll Account Distribution, Reappointment of Grad & Lecturer Staff, and Maintenance of I-9 Work Authorization information. Data is received from Payroll & Personnel systems and Client data entry.
Payroll Calculator
The Payroll Calculator system is an in-house open system implemented in 1990. It delivers web facility to calculate partial payroll payments for salaried staff who start, terminate or change mid pay period. Data is extracted from Payroll Calendar and Client data entry.
Payroll Charge (PACA)
The Payroll Charge (PACA) system is an in-house developed mainframe system implemented in 1960. It supports charging payroll and associated benefits coasts to University operating accounts (Financial General Ledger). Data is extracted from Payroll, Time Entry and PAIS, and Client data entry.
Payroll Leave Report (PAQR)
The Payroll Leave Report (PAQR) system is an in-house mainframe system developed in 1970. It maintains hourly staff leave accrual, use and balances. Data is extracted from Payroll & Personnel systems.
Personnel - Employee (PESN)
The Employee system is an in-house mainframe system developed in 1960. It tracks employees, position history and demographic information. Data is extracted from Payroll, Student systems and Client data entry.
Personnel Work Force Analysis (PEWF)
The Personnel Work Force Analysis (PEWF) system is an in-house mainframe system developed in 1970. It supports data to feed Affirmative Action, EEO, IPEDS and related staffing reporting, surveys and analyses. Data is extracted from Payroll, Payroll Charge and Personnel Systems.
Resumix
The Resumix system is a purchased open systems package installed in 1999. It captures and tracks applicant resume information and matches to openings. Data is entered from Client data entry.
