Connect Indiana (Vice President for Research and Graduate School)

The Connect Indiana system is an in-house open system implemented in 1999. The system provides web query of Purdue resources for Indiana businesses.

Decision Support System (DSS)

A database of financial, human resource, and student data made available to support business needs of the University. Data is accessed by departmental users through reporting tools such as Brio and SAS.

ICard Services

Card Services maintains the Access cards for the University. These cards permit access to Residence Halls, serve as meal cards in the Halls, grant access to the Co-Rec, and manage the Boiler Express balances. Information for this system comes from the Bursar, PRIDE, and Registrar Systems.

Purdue Advanced Continuing Education Registration System (PACERS)

The PACERS system is a mainframe system developed in-house that supports registration of courses offered through the Office for Continuing Education and Conferences (OCEC). Data is extracted through various file transfers to feed other systems including the financial, billing, and housing systems. Work is underway to replace PACERS by the end of 2003.

Purdue University Identification Number (PUID)

Purdue ID system is an in-house developed open system. This system creates a single Purdue Identifier and cross-referencing operation.

Technologies Available for Licensing (Vice President for Research and Graduate School - Office of Technology Transfer)

This web interface provides a way for companies to search for technologies that are available for licensed use. It is an in-house open system implemented in 1999.


United Way

The United Way system is an in-house developed mainframe system. This system was developed in the 1960s and provides pledge forms for United Way campaign, processes donations, and generates reports for monitoring campaign progress.
