What are the possible types of Resources?
Resources can be set up one of the following ways:
A delegated resource requires approval (human intervention) prior to the resource being scheduled.
Upon scheduling a resource of this type, it immediately appears on the users calendar, but does not appear on the resources calendar. After the owner of the resource approves the selected time and use, the user receives notification that the resource has been approved for use at the requested time and it appears on the resources calendar. (If the request is denied, the user receives notification that the resource request has been denied.)
An undelegated resource does not require approval and is immediately scheduled with the time reserved on the resources calendar.
This type of resource cannot be over booked.
Please note: A user will still need to be identified as a delegate for the resource. The delegate is responsible for keeping the Inbox clean.
The initial requester of the resource is responsible for configuring the resource "type". Click here for more information on configuring a resource.
