Windows 98 WINS

Please note: If your machine is in the NT Domain of ADMIN_DOMAIN, but is not configured to use DHCP, adding a WINS server may help speed things up. (If DHCP is used, it will add the WINS server information automatically.)

To add WINS servers for Windows 98:

    1. Click "Start" - "Settings" - "Control Panel" - "Network".


    2. Highlight "TCP/IP" and click "Properties".


    3. Click on the "WINS Configuration" tab.


    4. Click on "Enable WINS Resolution".


    5. Under WINS Server Search Order, add
      6. 128.210.63.201
      128.210.63.204

    6. Click OK.
