I have changed my service setting from "store" to "forward". How can I move my "messages" to my new server?
There are several possible options for moving the "old" messages from Mailhub "store" to your new mail server:- If your e-mail client supports multiple IMAP connections (e.g. Outlook XP) and the new server provides IMAP access:
- you may setup a connection to both your Mailhub "store" server and your new server.
- you may then use your e-mail client to copy the messages from your Mailhub "store" server to the new server.
- If your e-mail client does not support multiple IMAP connections:
- configure your e-mail client to access the folders on the Mailhub,
- select all the messages in a folder and save it to a local mail folder on your desktop,
- re-configure your e-mail client to point to your new e-mail location.
- If you want your messages then stored on the new server and your new server provides IMAP access, you can move your messages from your local e-mail folder to your new IMAP storage server.
