What are my possible @purdue.edu e-mail addresses?
There are potentially three "@purdue.edu" e-mail addresses which can be used:
- An assigned Career Account Login.
The career account login, followed by @purdue.edu, is a recognized e-mail address. For example, the login, vsmyth, has the e-mail address:
vsmyth@purdue.edu
- You may use the Purdue Electronic Directory "email" field to create another @purdue.edu e-mail address.
For example, Veronica Smyth could create another "@purdue.edu" address by modifying her e-mail field. She could enter the following into her e-mail field creating an additional e-mail@purdue.edu address of:
vjsmith@purdue.edu
- An assigned "qualified_name".
For example Veronica J. Smyth has the qualified name veronica.j.smyth.0. This along with "@purdue.edu" makes her first email address:
veronica.j.smyth.0@purdue.edu
