I can no longer read e-mail on my BlackBerry or am told that I need to update my password. Why?
NOTE: If your BlackBerry is using the BlackBerry Enterprise Service with an ITaP Exchange account, this FAQ is not relevant to your setup.
If you use the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) to access your Mailhub "store" account and have received a notice indicating that you won't get any more e-mail messages sent to you until you update your password, then the problem may be related to an initial misconfiguration that is correctable.
The BlackBerry Internet Service tries to automatically determine the "Email server" at the time of initial setup, using only your e-mail address. Unfortunately their method is not guaranteed to guess correctly.

these instructions on the client configuration web page for BlackBerry Internet Service. If you have an existing account, you can jump directly to step #6, and pay careful attention to step #8.
