From May 15-17 2012, all RCAC systems will each be down for maintenance for up to three days in order to accommodate electrical service work in the Math building and storage systems maintenance. Some systems will also be receiving OS and scheduler upgrades. The downtime for each system is listed at the following website: http://www.rcac.purdue.edu/news/detail.cfm?NewsID=526

The 480 volt electrical service to MATH will be shutdown on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 8:00am and power restored by 6:00am on Thursday, May 17, 2012. Some temporary power generation will be provided during the shutdown. This will affect primarily ITaP equipment.

At the specified time the web server that serves the Xymon web pages will be changed to require user authentication unless the user is accessing the pages from allowed subnets. Authentication from outside the allowed subnets will be allowed only for those with a need to access the site.
