On Friday, 11/06/2009, from 3:00 AM to 6:59 AM, the IT Networks & Security Data Team will be upgrading a portion of the BoilerNet network to meet the new Purdue Network 2010 standard. Specifically the network will be upgraded in the Nuclear Engineering Building (NUCL), the Purdue Coal Handling Facility (PCHF), and the American Railway Building (RAIL).
AFFECTED CLIENTS: Clients within NUCL, PCHF, and RAIL should plan to experience disruption of both wired network connectivity (via data PIC) and wireless network connectivity (via PAL/PAL2.0).
SCOPE OF WORK: During the scheduled outage window, affected clients in PCHF and RAIL should plan to experience service disruptions for up to 1 hour in duration and affected clients in NUCL should plan to experience service disruptions for up to 2 hours in duration.

On Friday, November 6, starting at 9:00 AM and finishing by 5:00 PM, we will be patching all QA 10g Oracle databases.

Remedy Maintenance - starting on 11/06/09 at 6:10 PM and ending on 11/07/09 at 2:10 AM, Remedy will be unavailable for the following items:
1.Application of Patch 07 to AR Server and Email Engine.
