YOUR ACID
What is it?
Users sign onto the ITaP Infrastructure mainframe using their ACID as the logon ID. In most cases your ACID is seven characters long, based on a predetermined standard coding scheme.
An ACID may be given access to the following facilities: CICS, FTP, MAI and/or ROSCOE CDE or RJE. Teleprocessing data entry systems are located within the CICS facility and require formal approval by the department data “owner” to access a specific system. Most users will have one ACID for all facilities.
Your Responsibilities:
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACTION TAKEN WITH YOUR
ACID.
Users’ names are associated with ACIDs so Security Administration
may track activity and violations.
