Telecommunications provides audio-visual equipment for centrally-scheduled classrooms on the West Lafayette campus and for conference rooms scheduled by the Purdue Memorial Union. All classrooms are equipped with at least one overhead projector and over 80 percent are equipped with either a television monitor/videocassette recorder or video or data projectors for displaying videotapes, television programs, or computer information. Most of the television monitors have closed captioning capabilities.

In addition, faculty and staff can arrange to have other audio-visual equipment and instructional materials ordered from the Media Scheduling in John W. Hicks Undergraduate Library delivered to classrooms. Telecommunications will deliver and pick up this equipment. Faculty or staff who would like to learn to operate A-V equipment themselves should call 49-42771. Audio-visual equipment is not available for loan to individuals.

For more information or to schedule audio-visual equipment, faculty or staff should call 49-42771 or visit the Equipment Scheduling Desk in Room G-39, Stewart Center.
