ITaP broadcasts The Purdue Channel on Insight Communications Educational Access Channel 5 (which is shared with the Lafayette School Corporation), BoilerTV Channel 15, and Purdue Cable Channel 2. Programming consists mainly of a teletext information service accompanied by a background of classical music provided by Purdue University's radio station WBAA-FM. The Purdue Channel also airs the program "Discover Purdue," featuring interviews with Purdue faculty and staff, NASA Space Shuttle Missions, historically important Purdue News programs, and various other Academic Course-related video program content.

Purdue Departments and Organizations interested in using the announcement posting service should contact ITaP at 49-41042. Forms to submit information for display on the bulletin boards can be obtained by calling 49-41031 or by visiting Room B20C, Stewart Center.

The Purdue Channel operates 24 hours a day (except on Insight Connections Channel 5) and airs the following programs according to the following schedule.

  • Discover Purdue is a weekly talk show featuring Purdue faculty and staff discussing topics of interest to the general community. The program airs Monday and Friday at 12 noon and Tuesday through Thursday at 7 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Lifelong Learning provides information about special programs, evening classes, noncredit classes, educational travel programs, on-site classes, and conferences available through Purdue University's Office of Instructional Excellence and Lifelong Learning.
  • Purdue Bulletin Boards provide information about University news. The bulletin board is available to Purdue departments and organizations. Updated daily.
  • Student Job Listings, provided by the Division of Financial Aid, present information for students about part-time and temporary jobs at the University and in the community. Updated daily.
