The Everest embosser can be accessed from any of the PCs in the Assistive Technology Center. It is to the right
of the printer. The Everest embosser is in a sound enclosure and can be accessed
by opening two glass doors.
When the embosser runs out of paper it will continually say "out
of paper." The paper can be refilled during the embossing of a document
without losing any data by doing the following:
Note: Do not overfill the paper magazine. Leave
a space between the paper bin and the pick-up rollers of about 1/4 inch
before closing it.
The embosser will continually say "Paper Jam" when a paper jam occurs.
The paper jam can be cleared by shutting off the embosser and pulling the affected paper out. The remainder of the document will need to be resent to the embosser.
