Management Structure (page 1 of 2)

It is proposed that the Kamal Ewida Earth Observatory Project be managed by a broadly constituted Executive Committee of nine members, with monthly teleconferenced meetings, whose responsibility would be to address collaborative disaster preparedness and response, epidemiological applications, related environmental sustainability initiatives, as well as long-term sustainable funding for KEEO operations.

The Executive Committee would be chaired by the PPD, Prof. Dr. M. Magdy Wahab, Professor and Chair, Dept. of Meteorology & Astronomy, Faculty of Science, at Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. Members of the Ex. Comm. shall include the NPD, Dr. Gilbert Rochon, the Project Co-Directors, Dr. Gülay Altay and Dr. Okan Ersoy, as well as the primary end-users (listed on the next page)
