What is the ITaP Service Catalog?
The Catalog provides campus users with a single location for information about all ITaP services offered to the campus. The Catalog:
- Capsulizes the ITaP services in an abbreviated form.
- Provides “standard” details on deliverables, price and performance.
- Provides contacts for customers wanting custom services.
- Identifies links to the ITaP web sites that provide complete information on the service.
What is an ITaP Service?
As included here, an ITaP service is defined as a set of related technical or professional functions provided by ITaP in support of one or more Purdue University business purposes. The functions may consist of software, hardware, communications facilities, and other IT infrastructure. The critical factor is that the service be perceived by the customer as a coherent whole and fulfills one or more needs of the customer.
