GoldAnswers is a global knowledge base with Purdue-specific information through which users can search for tips and tutorials on resolving computer issues.
Solutions to issues can be found by using the built-in Solutions filter or by entering a keyword seach into the keyword search field.
If a solution has not been found after searching GoldAnswers, information is provided to contact ITaP’s Customer Service Center.
Departmental areas using FootPrints to track help requests will be able to access both internal, agent specific help articles as well as public facing help articles. The general population will be able to search public facing help articles by visiting www.purdue.edu/goldanswers.
The service is available to everyone.
Purdue faculty, staff, students and alumni with Purdue career account credentials already have access to this service. Those interested in becoming knowledge-base contributors should send an email.
