Authentication and Authorization
IAMO provides authentication and authorization services, maintains the Purdue career account service, provides secure data distribution, and maintains Purdue Guest account services.
Data Network Services
ITaP Infrastructure provides core data network services to the Purdue University campus. The data network staff serves as the primary point of contact for the campus network. This team is responsible for PIC (Purdue Information Connection) requests, activations, service changes, and repairs. Includes services for Virtual Private Network (VPN), Wired, and Wireless access.
ResNet Services
ResNet is the data network in on-campus student residences. ResNet also provides access to the campus data network from off-campus, private residences of students, faculty, and staff via dial up modems.
Satellite Uplink and Downlink Services
News and video program material can be distributed by way of ITaP’s Satellite transmission (KU-Band) facility. This Service can also receive video programming distributed by satellite.
Telecommunication Services
Telecommunication Services provides support for office telephones, voice mail, cellular phones, and teleconferencing.
Video Networking Services
ITaP administers and operates a video network for Purdue University, and works closely with Purdue Faculty and Staff to distribute programming via that network.
