Qualified Purdue faculty, staff, students and, in some cases, alumni have access to Purdue-negotiated pricing on computer hardware, software, mobility service plans and personal credit management products through the ITaP Shopping program. The program includes access to online vendor sites with Purdue pricing, a vendor showcase in Stewart Center, Room G65 and discounted software available online for purchase and download from Kivuto (formerly e-academy), a company providing electronic software delivery and software license compliance.
ITaP Shopping Online provides access to online vendor storefronts with special Purdue pricing on computers and other electronics. Equipment can be ordered online and delivered to a home address.
Test-drive the latest equipment from Apple, Dell, and HP at ITaP Shopping Offline before making a purchase. ITaP Shopping Offline is a vendor showcase located in Stewart Center, Room G65. Holiday hours may vary.
ITaP Shopping Offline hours:
9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
Closed Saturday and Sunday
Individuals can purchase software through an online vendor, called Kivuto (formerly e-academy). After authentication, users can select software for purchase and pay with a credit card. Software ordered through Kivuto can be downloaded one time or made available on DVD for an additional charge plus shipping/handling.
Note that participation in the ITaP Shopping program is at the discretion of the student, faculty or staff member, and the purchase contract is between the purchaser and the vendor. Purdue University is not a party to sale; negotiations to resolve any disputes with the vendor will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
