Personally Owned Computers

The Microsoft Agreement (EES) allows each eligible Purdue faculty and staff member to use selected software products on one computer he or she owns, for University-related work. The cost of the Microsoft software licenses is covered by the agreement but media (DVDs) or a download must be purchased from OnTheHub. Click here to learn eligibility criteria.

Microsoft software media or download may be purchased at Purdue IT Software Licensing and Distribution.

Each person who wishes to buy Microsoft software license must certify his or her eligibility and accept the terms of the EES and associated University policies.

The Microsoft software may be distributed to and used only by persons who agree to abide by the EES's restrictions (summarized below) , applicable License Agreement terms (see the web page at http://www.microsoft.com/Education/ , and applicable University policies.
