Pushing Grades from Blackboard to Banner

Final grades are just around the corner! Instructors will turn in final grades electronically. Grades may be submitted in to the Banner system or "pushed" from Blackboard to Banner. The Instructional Development Center (IDC) and the OnePurdue Training Team have scheduled several short online Adobe Connect sessions to demonstrate Blackboard's grade pushing process and provide information about entering grades into Banner. Additionally, instructors may attend help sessions when they are ready to enter final grades. Session and registration information are below.

Pushing Grades from Blackboard to Banner: Online Demonstration

Description: This 30-minute online session will demonstrate how to send students' final grades from the Blackboard grade book to Banner. Information about how to enter grades into Banner also will be provided. You will 'attend' online from your home or office through your computer's web browser. All you need is a networked computer and speakers or headset to hear the session audio. Please plan to log into the virtual meeting room 10 minutes before the session begins to ensure you do not miss any of the beginning content at this URL: http://gomeet.itap.purdue.edu/showcase

Individual Help Session: Pushing grades from Blackboard to Banner or Entering Grades into Banner

Description: If you'd like help when you're ready to send grades from Blackboard to Banner, just come by during the help session to receive individual assistance from one of the consultants in the Instructional Development Center or training specialists from the OnePurdue Training Team. If you wish to enter your final grades directly in Banner, a training specialist in Banner also will be available. Be sure to bring your grades with you, or have them be accessible online!

Prerequisites: You must be a Banner-designated instructor for your Blackboard class in order to send grades from your Blackboard class to Banner.

Banner Access: Please log into the myPurdue portal at https://mypurdue.purdue.edu to check your access.
Grade Submission Dates: Grades may be submitted from Monday, May 4th at 8:00am - Tuesday, May 12th at 5:00pm
Other Help: The Office of the Registrar will have a station available in Hovde Hall Room 45 where instructors may go enter grades and seek assistance.
