I am presenting at WIPTE. What do I need to bring?

In the presentation rooms, a Tablet PC and projector will be provided. If you would like to bring your own laptop or TabletPC, both wired and wireless Internet connections are available. If you wish to use one of our machines, please submit your presentation to wipte@purdue.edu and we will have it pre-loaded onto the laptop for you. We also suggest that you bring a back-up copy of your presentation on CD or pen drive.

Is wireless projection available?

Some presenters have requested wireless projection. This option is not currently available but we are investigating the ability to provide it on a limited basis for the conference. If you wish to use wireless projection, please contact the conference committee as soon as possible to facilitate our planning. For wireless projection or any other A/V needs, the conference committee can be reached at wipte@purdue.edu .

What will be provided to corporate sponsors for their booths and poster sessions?

You will be provided with a 6-foot table, power, wired or wireless Internet connection(s), and a 4'x6' backdrop for mounting posters. Materials may be mounted to the backdrops with either tap or push pins which you provide. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any special requests.

What time can I check-in and set up my table?

Upon your arrival at the conference, please check-in at the Registration table which will be set up in the hallway of the 3rd floor of Stewart Center. The Registration team will have a diagram that shows at which table within the poster session room that you should set up. Please plan to arrive early enough to have your poster session ready when attendees are admitted.

Poster sessions will be open for viewing by attendees both days; we ask that you staff your poster session exhibit from 1:00-2:45 on the first day and 10:45-11:45 on the second day.
