Traveling to Purdue

Directions from the Indianapolis International Airport

  1. When leaving the airport, take I-465 N. Take I-465 N around to I-65 N toward Chicago.
  2. Stay on I-65 N to Exit 172, St. Rd. 26 (State Street).
  3. Follow St. Rd. 26 (State Street) through Lafayette.
  4. Once you cross the Wabash River, you will be in West Lafayette.
  5. From the river, go to the fourth light, Grant Street.
  6. Turn right on Grant Street for one-half block.
  7. Garage is on the right. The Purdue Memorial Union is on the left across from the garage.
If you are flying to Purdue, the Indianapolis International Airport is the closest major airport to Purdue (approx. 65 miles). Shuttle service is available via Lafayette Limo .

If you are flying to Chicago's O'Hare airport, (approx. 185 miles), shuttle service is available via Express Air Coach . For information or reservations, please call (765) 743-3120.

Union Club Hotel
Rooms are reserved at the Union Club Hotel on campus. For reservations, call 1-800-320-6291 or 765-494-8913.

Hilton Garden Inn
Rooms are reserved at the West Lafayette Wabash Landing Hilton Garden Inn , located less than a mile from campus. For reservations, call 765-743-2100. Be sure to mention the WIPTE conference when making reservations to get special program rates. Reservations cannot be made online - you must call to receive the reduced group conference rate.

Shuttle service from the Hilton Garden Inn to Purdue's campus (or anywhere within a 3-mile radius of the hotel) is available as needed every ½ hour from 7:30am-10:30pm. Please call the Hilton Garden Inn front desk and let them know when you will need the shuttle.

Dining

Cafeteria food, pizza, and other items are available on the ground floor of the Purdue Memorial Union. Breakfast and lunch are also served at the Sagamore Room on the second floor of the Union. Take a short walk east down State Street and you will find yourself in the Purdue Village area with many dining options available.

Parking Information

All corporate exhibits and presentations will be held on the 2nd floor of Stewart Center, Purdue University, West Lafayette campus. Visitor parking is available in the Grant Street Parking Garage (PGG) for an hourly fee. Permit parking for Purdue faculty, staff, and students is available in the Grant and Wood Streets (PGGW), and Marstellar Street (IPGM) Parking Garages.
