Dr. David Berque
Dr. David Berque is a professor of computer science at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. He earned a PhD in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In 1997, he was named the Baccalaureate Colleges Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. He has published more than 20 refereed journal and conference papers and has received grants of more than $750,000 from the National Science Foundation.
His pen-based computing projects have been discussed on CNN and in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Popular Science, The Chicago Tribune, The London Daily Telegraph, The Indianapolis Star, U.S.A. Today and The Chronicle of Higher Education. Dr. Berque also works as an instructional technology consultant for DyKnow (www.dyknow.com).
