Eligibility for ATC services

Most of the services available through the Assistive Technology Center can only be provided to students, faculty or staff who are eligible because of disability status. The ATC does not determine eligibility - those decisions are made by the Disability Resource Center, the Affirmative Action Office, or Human Resource Services.

For students, eligibility is determined by the Disability Resource Center (http://www.purdue.edu/odos/drc). Students should contact the DRC (phone 765-494-1247 or email drc@purdue.edu) to speak with a program specialist.

For faculty and staff, eligibility is determined by either Human Resource Services or the Affirmative Action Office based on an evaluation of disability status under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
