ITaP Lab Reservation Request

Approximately 50 instructional computer labs located throughout the campus are supported and operated by the Teaching and Learning Technologies division of ITaP. These labs are used primarily for academic events, but may also be scheduled for other faculty, staff, and student organization needs.

If you would like to reserve one or more sessions in an ITaP computer lab, please supply the following information or call Larry French at 49-63694.

Events are normally scheduled during regular hours in the semester lab schedule to ensure that we have adequate staff to help with any problems during the event. If you need to schedule a lab for an entire semester, please contact your departmental Schedule Deputy.

Number of Stations Needed:
Labs typically have 20-45 stations, but there are a few with up to 65 stations. The larger labs are not arranged well as teaching facilities, but may be useful for help sessions or other activities.

Software Needed:
See the list of Commonly Available Software in the labs, including the procedure to request installation of software on lab machines. All lab machines have MS Office and internet access.
Other Needs:

Projection of the instructor station video
Amplification of the instructor station audio
Stand-up lectern for the instructor
Temporary accounts for visitors
VCR or DVD player
