Course Description:
ATTN: CALUMET/NORTH CENTRAL-----This is an optional hands-on practice lab for staff who have attended OnePurdue FICOFM 210 Lecture. The lab will give participants a chance to practice the functions covered during the lecture session. This lab is scheduled for 1 1/2 hours. We ask that you sign up for the lab time you prefer so we may accommodate all participants.

Student Information System Recruitment Module Training
Intended Audience:
Staff
Prerequisite Skills:
Meet the business need for student data requirement outlined in Executive Memorandum C-34, make arrangements to have the client image loaded on the user's computer via techinal support, and be FERPA certified through the Office of the Registrar. Access Authorization Form must be submitted to the Data Steward in VPSS, Schleman Hall (Link provided to the actual account access form in pdf format under learning materials). Entering new undergraduate prospective student information to SIS, entering contacts with prospective undergraduate students, and scheduling prospective undergraduate students for Admissions or departmental events. Includes a brief outline of Admissions recruitment strategies.

Viewing Course Rosters in SIS
Intended Audience:
Faculty, Instructors and Schedule Deputies
Prerequisite Skills:
- Completion of FERPA training and sign-off form for the Office of the Registrar http://www.purdue.edu/SSC/infosys/datasystems/ferpamsgsis.htm - Business need to see information for courses you are authorized to instruct. - Course /instructor access set up through the department schedule deputy.
Course Description:
- How to log-on and view your course rosters in SIS. - How to set up other authorized viewers for your course rosters. - How to download and print course rosters. NOTE: This is an OPEN, HANDS-ON LAB. You may come at any time during the scheduled time and stay as long as you need to. You will log on as yourself to view your own courses and get INDIVIDUAL help working through the process. Your registration will indicate your intention to stop by at some point during our open lab period on that day.
