The following tutorial shows the steps to copy files and folders to a CD. Moving older files off the shared servers frees up space.
Note: Before you start to save files or folders, you will need a blank, writable CD inserted into your computer's CD recorder slot.
The tutorial will automatically play at its preset speed. However, a video playback control bar appears at the bottom of each tutorial screen. Use the forward, back, and pause buttons to skip forward, review a section again, or to stop.

If you store a lot of files on your hard drive, be sure that you have enough disk space on your hard drive to store the temporary files that are created during the CD writing process.
If space is tight and you have large files to copy, you could save groups of files and repeat the process until all your files are saved to CD.
For a standard CD, Windows reserves up to 700 MB of free space. For a high-capacity CD, Windows reserves up to 1 GB of free space.
For most people this will not be an issue.
