StudyMate is an authoring tool that allows you to create ten Flash-based activities and games using three simple templates. The Flash activities can be used with any web server or published directly to Blackboard. StudyMate will import items from Microsoft Word files, Respondus, IMS QTI and other formats as well as publisher test banks.

Who Can Use this Software?
Faculty and staff are able to use StudyMate to create game-based content and exercises for their classes; for teaching assistants, StudyMate may be used if they are developing course content.
Using StudyMate In Your Class
StudyMate can help your students learn and retain information through engaging game activities loaded directly in Blackboard Learn. Students will need to use a computer that has Adobe Flash player installed in order to view the materials correctly. Workstation Installation and Licensing
Purdue University has obtained a campus-wide license for StudyMate software. Faculty and staff may install StudyMate on their home or office computer. For faculty and staff wishing to have StudyMate installed on their work computers, please contact your local IT support group for assistance in installing the program.
StudyMate is available for Windows only; there is no Mac version available.

Please note that you may not share the StudyMate installation file and license information with anyone who is not affiliated with Purdue. Such an action is a violation of our licensing agreement with Respondus (the maker of StudyMate), and is also illegal.
After installing StudyMate, the program may search for updates. Please allow the program to download and install any updates.
License Term and Updating Information
The license information for StudyMate changes once per year, usually at the beginning of August. If your installation of StudyMate indicates your license is out of date, you will need to request the new license information from email@example.com.
Training and Support
For support using StudyMate, our license does not allow for faculty and staff to receive direct support from StudyMate. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need troubleshooting assistance with StudyMate.
