Reminder: Learning Management System demonstrations scheduled for coming weeks; participants asked to provide evaluations

Purdue’s learning management system review team wants to hear from participants in this week’s open demonstrations of the Brightspace Desire to Learn system, which will be compiled into a final recommendation report on replacing Blackboard Learn.

On Monday and Wednesday, March 4 and 6, open demonstrations by Brightspace were held for faculty, staff and students on the West Lafayette and Northwest campuses. Additional demonstrations are scheduled for the Fort Wayne campus on Wednesday, March 13. Purdue Global faculty and students, and anyone unable to attend an in-person demonstration, can attend any of the events virtually via livestream links below.

In the coming weeks, two other learning management systems – Canvas and Blackboard Ultra – will also be demonstrated on campus. Faculty and staff demonstrations are scheduled for:

Canvas

Temporary accounts are available for Blackboard UltraCanvas and Brightspace D2L, and allow guests to create and view courses as well as explore the various features of each system.
