Final learning management system demos set for next week, participants asked for feedback

Purdue’s learning management system review team wants to hear from participants in the open demonstrations of the Canvas system, and to remind faculty, staff and students on all campuses of upcoming visits by Blackboard Ultra.

Demonstrations by Canvas were held March 18-22. An online survey has been created to gather feedback:

March 26-28, Blackboard Ultra, the last of three systems being examined, will be demonstrated on the Fort Wayne, Northwest and West Lafayette campuses. Faculty and staff demonstrations are scheduled for:

  • West Lafayette: March 26, from 10-11:15 a.m. or 1:30-2:45 p.m., in the Co-Rec Feature Gym; click here to register to attend. To attend sessions virtually, click here.
  • Fort Wayne: March 27, from 10-11:15 a.m. or 1:30-2:15 p.m., in Walb Union International Ballroom, Salon A; to attend sessions virtually, click here (password is blackboard).
  • Northwest: March 28 from 10-11:15 a.m. or 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. (CST) in SULB 321; to attend sessions virtually, click here.

Temporary accounts are available for Blackboard UltraCanvas and Brightspace D2L, and allow guests to create and view courses as well as explore the various features of each system.
