Instructors invited to virtual discussion about teaching this summer

Instructors with questions about teaching remotely this summer – including schedules and expectations, along with resources for teaching remotely – can attend a virtual panel discussion with Purdue Innovative Learning’s technology and pedagogy experts from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, April 30.

The hour-long session, delivered via WebEx, will focus on teaching summer courses and provide guidance for instructors who are still transitioning from face-to-face to remote teaching. Panel members will include Jenna Rickus, associate vice provost for teaching and learning, John Gibson, director of Summer Session, Chantal Levesque-Bristol, executive director of the Center for Instructional Excellence, and several Innovative Learning team members.

The panel will include an opportunity for instructors to ask questions as well as provide attendees with links for more resources and additional information. Those unable to attend live will be able to watch a recorded version of the webinar, which will be posted later to the Teaching Remotely webpage.
