Career account files to be inaccessible Sept. 4 from 4 to 10 p.m.

Update: Due to scheduling conflicts, the maintenance scheduled for this weekend is being rescheduled to a future date. There is no planned interruption of service for Sept. 4.

On Saturday, September 4, the West Lafayette campus career account infrastructure (Isilon, W:\ drive) will be unavailable from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. for scheduled maintenance and upgrades.

For users, the scheduled maintenance means that faculty, staff, and students should avoid accessing career account files and department file shares from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on this day, as the upgrade will include multiple rebooting of the servers. Users may be able to access files but will be disconnected when a reboot occurs. Some users may also have difficulty logging into labs and other supported workstations.

No data will be affected by the maintenance and users can check itap.purdue.edu/status for notification that the maintenance has been completed.
