Prepare to connect to Purdue’s WiFi network before arriving on campus

Purdue’s PAL 3.0 wireless network is your wireless network connection in University Residence Halls, academic buildings and campus locations like the Purdue Memorial Union and the Cordova Recreational Sports Center.

Even before you arrive on campus this fall, you can set up your devices (laptops, tablets, and phones) to automatically connect to the PAL 3.0 wireless system the moment you step foot on campus. Using the SecureW2 portal configures your device to connect automatically on campus and ensures that you have the correct security settings in place.

How to use SecureW2 to connect

  • After clicking on the button above, click on the “Join Now” button to download the appropriate application for your device.
  • Open the downloaded application and enter your Purdue Career Account User Name and Password (note: this is the not the same as using BoilerKey.)
  • You should see a message that says “Configuration Succeeded” - this means that your device will connect to PAL 3.0 when you are on campus and the wireless network is in range.
