The lab is located in the center of campus in the Envision Center for Data Visualization, which is located between the Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center.
Working for HPE as part of the Purdue Pathmaker program has helped not only provide direction for my future career but I have also improved in my school work. Getting to work alongside passionate engineers has a way of rubbing off on you and makes you want to do your best as well. While the specific programs and hard skills haven’t directly transferred from the internship to classes, it is the soft skills such as time management and why code optimization is important that have really helped me see my end goal of graduating and working full time with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It isn’t just a personal feeling either as my family and friends have also commented about how my sense of purpose has become focused since starting the internship.
