Envision Center for Data Perceptualization

Service Description:

ITaP's Envision Center for Data Perceptualization located off the hallway between the Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center enables researchers to visualize, and better understand, their data.

The services we provide include:

  • Scientific Visualization and Analytics: enables researchers to visualize, and better understand, their data.
  • Virtual Interactive Simulation: training and VR simulation achieved through virtual environments, deployable to mobile devices, desktop, web, and to our flagship immersive CAVE.
  • Human computer interaction: facilitating researchers interested in motion capture, body tracking, gesture recognition, haptic research and other interactive devices.
  • Video Production: video production allows us to capture or represent the above services for educational, training or publication purposes.
  • Publication Graphics: High fidelity renderings of our visualizations tailored for publication.

Availability varies.

Eligibility:

Groups internal and external to Purdue University are eligible for this service.

Related Costs:

Service costs are negotiated in a service-level agreement (or other means) between ITaP and the requesting department or program.

How to report problems or issues:

Staff within the center can be consulted in the event of problems or issues.
